| TextDE | The Clarke airborne CA1 dozer was used by both the GB and USA forces in WW2. It could be carried in a glider like the CG4A (waco) Hadrian and saw service in NWE and the far east. Although quite small it could be used to make a longer flatter runway for large transport aircraft. | |
