| TextEN | Cited from ebay page by McKee Models: The Semovente 75/34 was similar to the Semovente 75/18 with the 75mm Modello 34 mountain gun replaced with the longer L34 75mm gun. The 75/34 utilised the M15/42 chassis with 192 being built prior to the Italian armistice in September 1943. However, none were ever used by the Italian army. As with most Italian equipment, following the armistice, the Germans pressed all the available Italian equipment into service. The Semovente 75/34 were used by German forces against the Allies in both Italy and the Balkans. | |
