| TextDE | The Para Morris C8 17pdr tractor was converted from the earlier C8 2 pdr portee truck. It was used to tow the 17pdr and carry ammunition once landed from a Hamilcar glider. They were used at Arnhem during the famous operation to capture the bridges. The model also includes some 17pdr ammo boxes. This model was mastered after extensive research as to exactly what type of Morris was used as there seemed to be quite a bit of confusion. | |
